The Mole & Mariachi Festival is a vibrant event celebrating Santa Cruz Countys cultural heritage and the comeback of Santa Cruz Mission Adobe State Historic Park, which was scheduled to close in 2012 but was saved by Friends of Santa Cruz State Parks. The family-friendly Mole & Mariachi Festival will feature local chefs preparing mole as well as free activities such as music, folklorico, tortilla making, crafts and other childrens activities.
